| Tonight I write to the young woman who keeps my heart. She gives me the strength to carry on with my day to day tasks. "How does she do it ?", one may ask. This jeune et jolie fille find ways to keep my heart beating. When I look at her pictures, I begin to fall into a surreal state of ecstasy. Her beautiful eyes shine brightly of a young girl who will become an immensely intelligent and successful woman. Her beautiful smile brightens my outlook for the future as well as, because in my heart I have no doubts that she will be the person who will keep my heart beating strong and protect it from those who wish to do harm to me. She continues to help me grow as a person and will continue to help me grow in my progression to become the man I want to become.
I am constantly reminded that she is a young girl, but in my eyes she will grow into une femme, who will do great deeds. She says she wants to be a doctor, but she will become greater than that because I want to help her become a great doctor, a great woman, and a great person. I will be loyal to her and support her decisions in the future. I want to be her foundation to help her reach her goals. I must be able to give her my wisdom, my support, and my heart to help withstand and overcome the obstacles that lay before her. I will be her strength just as she is my strength. I will be her shield and sword she holds to fight off the people who stand in her way of becoming what she wants to be. I want her to be happy that she made the right choice choosing me to be the man, her man, to help her fulfill her desires as she has constantly fulfill my desires. For I am in love with this young girl and willing to do anything to help her become great. | | |
| Hey everyone, Dimitri here :]!! I hope that everyone has been doing well and been enjoying their break. As for myself, I've been doing pretty good myself. I was taking a Jazz dancing class this past semester. I have to say that I have new found respect for people who dance because I put in so many hours of practice just to be able to be some what decent at dancing. Even thought I did put much more work into the dance class than I expected, the class was absolutely amazing. I loved the dances that I was learning even though they were feminine(there were 46 girls and 4 guys in the class lol). My professor, Fred Weiss, told me he liked that I was part of the class because I seemed enthusiastic about learning the dance moves and I made a major improvement in all my dances. He also loved that I brought energy everyday to class and that I had confidence to stand in front of the class each day for warm ups and dances. My other classmates also said that I had improved a lot, and that made me happy because I was looking up to them as motivation to improve my dancing skills and in the end they were complimenting me on my improvement.
I met some cool people in the class too. Marina and mei mei Nancy are the ones I like the most. Marina is a young beautiful girl from Russia who plays on the tennis team. She is 17, but she acts more mature than me =x! She would always practice the dances with me and my friend Jimmy because we were "worst dancers" than she was. She was always giving constructive criticism to both Jimmy and me to improve our dancing and we would help her with any mistakes she was doing. She was also asking to have "family dinners" with Jimmy and me right after dance so we can talk about different topics from dances we were learning to anything that we can do together outside of dance class such as seeing a show, creating a dance video, etc.Then somehow by the end of the semester Marina became my mommy and Jimmy my daddy lol. Now we are a close knit family :]!! Nancy is a cute Chinese girl whom would play games with me in dance class. We would always go play around with each in class. She would always tickle me or hit me (sometimes hurting herself in the process =p). We would also dance with each other sometimes in class to practice whatever the TA's had taught us. One day at TASC Night Market, Nancy and her friend Maggie wanted win some prizes by throwing rings over bottles. They weren't able to win the game, but I decided to give them the prizes they wanted after everyone left. Since then Nancy and I became really close. She is moving into my house off-campus this semester, and she says that she will cook for me :]!!
Another person I met this past semester is Rika. Rika is another pretty Asian girl who is a web designer and an inspiring photographer. We met each other through a mutual friend one night in the beginning of the semester. Rika was looking for a place to stay for a month when she was at Bing so I let her stay in my apartment for the month. One of the first things I noticed about Rika was her sense of humor. She would say funny things about people all the time. She gave my house mates nicknames that would describe them perfectly ( even thought they were mean nicknames =D). Rika and I watched movies together on her laptop and she would also show me the different cities she visited around the world with her bf. I loved the stories she told me of the different cities she visited and some of her life experiences she had so far. Even thought she is two years older than me, Rika has definitely accomplished a lot more than I can imagine myself accomplishing in two years. She is definitely one of my role models.
Finally I would like to tell you guys about my lovely girlfriend Justine :]! We were going out last year, but we broke up because she didn't like the long distance and I was not giving her all my attention because of my family situation at the moment. After a few weeks, she wanted to get back together, but I wasn't ready to get back with her because I was depressed and felt like I would drag her down with me. By March, I lied to her and told her I wasn't interested in her anymore because it broke my heart she was waiting for me. I felt like I didn't deserve her because she was patiently waiting for me, and I was being a coward at the time and not trying to repay her with my love. I didn't see her again until July a week after her birthday. I was afraid to see her again because I didn't know how she would react to seeing me. I took her to see Altar Boy (a good off-broadway show that I would recommend everyone to see). When I first saw her again, I became really happy again. I never realized how much I missed her until then. I told myself I had to find a way to get her back. So I started to talk to her a lot more and planned another date with her :]! We went to eat dinner at a Korean Restaurant and then went to Build-A-Bear to get her some stuff animals that she could love :]!!! After this wonderful date, we started going out. Even though its long distance again, we really like each other. I really believe that when you really like someone then distance should matter. Somethings I like about Justine are : she is funny (always saying sarcastic things), she is smart girl, she likes to play sports and watch them(a plus for me), she really cares about me(knowing this makes me happy because I'm really thankful that I'm her bf), she is also an hard working individual, and I LOVE her eyes and smile :]!! she makes me so happy when we talk. I think she is such a beautiful girl inside and out. She is definitely the perfect girl for me. I'm starting to think that she is the right one for me, but only time will tell if she is. For now, I'm just glad that we are together again. <333
